Online Ordering

We love our website. It allows us to keep our "doors" open 24 hours a
day, which allows you to shop locally for books at your convience.
Technology is not perfect, so here are a few things to keep in mine when
you are ordering online.

Please note that when you see a book on our website, it does not
necessarily mean we currently have it in stock.  The titles that appear
are ones that are available for us to order through our distributor. We
can't possibly fit them all on our lovely shelves. If a particular
title is currently in stock in the store, you will see that information
on the website. If it's not, you'll notice language like "Usually ships
in 1-5 days."

If the book you order is not currently in stock, we will order it for
you from our distributor the very next business day, and will have it
shipped directly to you (unless to choose the "pick up in store" option for shipping). This means that your website orders will
sometimes be shipped from the store, and sometimes from our
distributors. Either way, we'll get you your order as quickly as
possible.

It's also worth noting that we have many books and other items (periodicals, cards and gifts) in the bookstore that do not appear on
our website. And, of course,
feel free to call or email us at if you can't find what you're looking
for on the website. Chances are good we'll be able to get it for you!

Picking up your online order in the store

Please do not come immediately to the store after placing your order. 
We will review your order and let you know if your order can be filled
in a timely manner.  Most titles that are listed as "Usually ships in
1-5 days" can be here in the store for pick-up in 1-2 days, depending on
the availability of the book. There is no shipping charge for
in-store pickup. We will call you when your order is ready to be picked
up at the store.

Ordering online - books to be shipped

If you are placing an order to be shipped, please keep the following in mind:

Stock Status for each book

"Usually ships in 1-5 days"

Your book will mostly likely be shipped in 1-2 days depending on availability of a title

"Special Order", "Coming Soon", "Not Yet Published", or "Out of Print"

This is a book that is NOT currently available from the distributor that
we use most often to obtain books. This means that in order to fill
such an order, we will need to look into other distributors, or to the
publishers themselves. And some of these books, while listed in the
database, are simply not available anywhere.

We are happy to place pre-orders for books that aren't out yet. We'll
call you or ship the book when the book is released. If a book is not
available to pre-order on the website, you can call the store
